Realme launches an affordable 64MP camera phone in India price

Realme is back with its Narzo series. The company on Wednesday launched a new phone dubbed the Realme N55. This, the company claims, is the first smartphone in the segment to offer 33W charging support and a 64-megapixel AI camera system. The phone starts at Rs 10,999 and the company is offering up to Rs 1000 discount as a part of the introductory offer.

The Realme N55 comes in two variants. The base model comes packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and is priced at Rs 10,999. The top-end variant of the phone comes packed with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and is priced at Rs 12,999. The smartphone also offers up to 12GB dynamic RAM support, which simply means that multitasking may not be a problem on this phone. The Realme N55 has been launched in two colour options – Prime Blue and Prime Black.


As a part of the launch offer, the Realme N55 4GB RAM model will be available for Rs 10,499 while the 6GB RAM model will be available for Rs 11,999. These prices will be applicable only between April 18 and April 21. Interested customers will be able to purchase the smartphone from April 18, which is when the Realme N55 goes on open sale on Amazon and realme.com. Realme is also hosting an early access sale or Live Sale on April 13 for people who can’t wait for the open sale.

Realme N55 specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Realme N55 comes packed with a 6.72-inch full screen display with FHD+ resolution and 90hz screen refresh rate and hole punch design. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage support. On the software front, the phone runs with Realme UI 4.0 built-in based on Android 13.

On the camera front, the Realme N55 comes packed with a 64-megapixel primary camera coupled with a B&W lens with a 2MP resolution on the rear. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone includes an 8-megapixel camera. The good thing is, Realme offers lots of camera features to enhance the overall photography experience. Some of these features include -- Bokeh Flare Portrait, AI Color Portrait, and Starry Mode.

Coming to the battery, the phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for a 33W SuperVOOC charging solution. The company claims that it takes just 29 minutes to get charged 50 per cent and reaches the 100 per cent mark in 63 minutes.
